Site Reliability Engineer

Hybrid (Office & Remote), Full Time

For our business partner, one of the major and fastest growing Romanian companies specialized in integrating complex IT&C infrastructure and security solutions, we are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer in Bucharest.

What will you be doing:

• Lead Observability solutions implementations to our customers with a focus on Application Performance Monitoring;
• Support services before they go live through system design consulting;
• Qualify new technologies trough proof of concepts;
• Design, implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications and infrastructure;
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to provide real time visibility;
• Analyze system behavior to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues;
• Engineer best practices;
• Design CI/CD pipelines;
• Deliver presentations and trainings on Observability components, integration, automation to the internal team and customers;
• Shares best practices within the team.

Requirements:

You should have real hands-on experience with:

• An APM solution as New Relic, Sentry, Elastic, SolarWinds etc. Certification preferred;
• Kubernetes;
• Git;
• IaC tools as Terraform or Ansible;
• Either of VMware or Openstack cloud solutions;
• Programming in at least one of the following programming languages: Python or Java.

Your background:

• 3+ years in a similar position;
• 3+ years in working with IaC;
• Strong collaboration skills.
