Software Architect

Hybrid (Office & Remote), Full Time

For our business partner, one of the major and fastest growing Romanian companies specialized in integrating complex IT&C infrastructure and security solutions, we are hiring a Software Architect in Bucharest.

What will you be doing:

• Responsible for end-to-end architectural oversight and design of solutions;
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation and diagrams;
• Lead the architectural decision-making process based on pragmatic understanding of tradeoffs/cost-benefit analysis;
• Modelling architectures using the TOGAF meta model within an architecture modelling tool;
• Creating high-level application and integration solution designs;
• Conducting system architecture evaluations to define target state architectures and transitional roadmaps;
• Ensure solutions are integrated with existing applications through APIs and integrations;
• Technical review of the design and code and ensuring it conforms to solution design, security standards, industry best practices and non-functional requirements.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in Release/Deployment/Application Engineering Experience;
• At least 5 years web service and API development experience;
• Experience in migrating legacy applications & EUDA to Cloud native Applications;
• Strong experience with Kubernetes;
• Good understanding of Identity Management principles;
• Excellent understanding of Infrastructure as Code deployment best practices;
• Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: web servers, application servers, load balancers, and storage;
• Knowledge of orchestrating / automation tools;
• Experience working with in-house and outsourced delivery teams;
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies; CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps etc.
• Experience with software lifecycle management in an agile methodology;
• Experience in working with data models (PDM, CDM, LDM);
• Experience in working with integration components (service bus, API manager, message queues);
• Experience in API development (REST, SOAP, WSS);
• Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills;
• TOGAF certified, would be considered an advantage;
• Experience in Public sector, would be considered an advantage.
